The Iguazu Falls Brazil

After visiting Victoria Falls it was difficult to imagine anything to surpass that but Iguazu cetainly did in terms of magnitude.

In a fit of madness we decided to go whitewater rafting. An exhilerating experience to say the least.

It is great to be able to explore from both the Brazillian and the Argentinian sides of the falls

A profusion of beautiful butterflies brings glorious flashes of colour

  1. Dear Celia and Michael, Excellent shots obtained in a perfect day weather wise! You even captured a rainbow! The butterflies made a big surprise - they are so beautiful! And you treated them so well, Celia! Great job!!!

    1. Thank you so much Fabio. It is such fun making return trips to some of the most beautiful places I have seen, albeit through my pictures!

  2. The scenery looks so mesmerizing. It must be awesome to be there and walk on the edge of the falls. And doing that rafting tour! I did it at Victoria falls and I would love to repeat that. The travel bug is biting me, when I look at your photos, Celia!

    1. The falls were amazing even though the water was beginning to reduce as it was outside the rainy season. The white water rafting was an amazing experience and I was so proud of Michael who has been afraid of water all his life and is a poor swimmer and yet he still agreed to do it!
